Google’s Youtube account published this video today of their upcoming 3D maps feature that uses 45-degree aerial imagery to render these spectacular cityscapes complete with buildings, terrain and even landscaping.  They aim to have 3D coverage for metropolitan areas with a combined population of 300 million people by the end of the year.
